Plastic Part Manufacturing

Plastic part manufacturing has advanced considerably over the last few years, with a range of materials, techniques, and customization previously unattainable even just a few years ago. New plastics with higher performance and more sophisticated equipment give designers more options to invent and implement new products. Aline components has the right materials, tools, and design expertise to turn your design into precision reality.

We provide a wide variety of plastic part manufacturing techniques, including injection moldingrapid tooling, and hot foil stamping

Injection Molding involves the use of thermoplastic material injected into a mold for rapid prototyping, testing, and large scale production. As the technology for injection molding evolves, the assortment of production materials continues to expand: ABS, Acetal, Acrylic, Nylon-PA, PBTPET, Polycarbonate, Polyetherimide, Polyethylene, Polyethylene Sulfide - PPS, Polypropylene, Polyurethane, Polystyrene, PPO, PVC, and Thermoplastic elastomers are all materials used in injection molding. Each one has been formulated to have specific material properties suitable for different applications, such as electrical resistance, melt flow index (MFI), or thermal conductivity, CTE. Aline components has a deep working knowledge of these advanced materials and can assist you in the right choice for your specific needs.

Tooling and mold making speed has improved through the use of CNC technology linked with CAD/CAM design processes. Rapid tooling permits the prototyping, testing, redesign, and large scale production of prototype and production tools, and the CAD/CAM process allows rapid and precise component design.

Hot Foil Stamping creates custom logos and other 2d images and text embedded in molds and other plastic parts, for decorative or informational purposes.

Benefits of Plastic Part Manufacturing
Along with its ability to handle text and make custom foil-stamped designs, hot-foil stamping can also be used as a comprehensive tool and mold archiving method. Every tool, mold, or part can be individually and uniquely labeled by means of a hot foil stamping system to track its use in a facility and anticipate the need for replacement parts.

With our material expertise, CAD/CAM design and precision engineering, product testing, large scale production, and tool archiving services, Aline components can offer you every step of the plastic part manufacturing process under one roof.
