As a leading plastic manufacturing company,
Aline Components offers a broad range of thermoplastic
materials to international, national, and regional customers
in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland.
With extensive experience in custom plastic injection
molding, we have the materials and the full-service capabilities
to deliver what you want at the speed you need. Based
on your custom plastic part or component application,
Aline designers and engineers can suggest what thermoplastic
material will work best for your product or system.
What makes thermoplastics unique is their
ability to go through repeated freezing and melting cycles
and be reshaped. Manufactured and finished plastic parts
or components are formed through a variety of molding,
casting, extrusion, pultrusion, machining, welding, and
grinding plastic manufacturing processes. Elastic and
flexible, Alines thermoplastic materials are molded
and manufactured for high-performance results.
Thermoplastic properties to consider
when selecting a material for your custom plastic part
or component include:
Mechanical Properties tensile
strength or break, elongation, and tensile modules.
Thermal Properties application temperature,
deflection temperature, glass transition temperature,
thermal conductivity, coefficient of thermal expansion
(CTE).
Electrical and Optical Properties dielectric
strength, dielectric constant, electrical resistivity,
index of refraction and transmission.
Physical Properties overall thickness, width
or outer diameter (OD), length, and inner diameter (ID).
Processing Properties melt flow index (MFI),
viscosity, and water absorption.
At Aline Components, we take the mechanical,
thermal, electrical or optical, physical, and processing
properties of each material into consideration to determine
which one will best suit your application. We provide
customers with a host of material choices including ABS,
Acetal, Acrylic, Nylon-PA, PBT, PET, Polycarbonate, Polyetherimide,
Polyethylene, Polyethylene Sulfide-PPS, Polypropylene,
Polyurethane, Polystyrene, PPO, PVC, and Thermoplastic
elastomers. The chemical systems and properties of these
materials is what differentiate each.
Features of Alines
Thermoplastics
Aline invests in the highest quality thermoplastics from
the most reputable resin suppliers. Our materials feature
a variety of advantages over thermosets and other similar
composites. For electrical applications, we can mold and
manufacture materials to protect against electrostatic
discharge (ESD), electromagnetic interference (EM), or
radio frequency interference (RFI). For high voltage applications,
we have materials that are electronically conductive,
resistive, and insulating.
To thin or alter viscosity, some of our
materials contain water-based or water borne resins, while
others contain solvent-based resins that utilize a volatile
organic compound (VOC). To reduce the spread of flames
or resist ignition when exposed to extremely high temperatures,
we offer an array of flame retardant materials. Due to
the ease at which thermoplastics soften when heated and
harden when cooled, our materials are often suitable for
recycling.
Aline Components is a leader in our industry.
We serve a vast base of customers in a range of industries.
We spare no expense to provide you with the best materials
available so you can provide your customers with the
best possible product.
